Accurium’s ongoing growth is a business model focused on client centricity, quality, efficiency, performance, and profitability – the Business Development Manager is responsible for winning new and retaining existing clients for Accurium.

Requiring a high level of autonomy and self-motivation, this role also offers the opportunity to help drive future strategy as a key member of the Accurium management team.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Increase sales of Accurium products and services through targeted sales campaigns
  • Improve client retention through excellent customer services
  • Increase visibility of Accurium brand in the SMSF sector


  • Proven sales experience in financial services 
  • Familiar with accounting and/or SMSF sector

Role details

  • Reports directly to the Managing Director
  • Flexible workplace, with the ability to work from home 2-3 days a week

Specific Tasks 

  • Driving actuarial certificate sales and other Accurium product sales in accordance with strategy
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key existing clients
  • The development and implementation of quarterly business plans to achieve the sales volumes targets and increase touch points across our market
  • Working closely with the Accurium marketing team to develop and leverage lead generation opportunities created from marketing campaigns
  • Provide guidance, training and coaching to accountants and advisers on Accurium services
  • Attendance at industry conventions, seminars and trade shows
  • Contribute to strategic decision making as part of the Accurium management team
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key existing customers
  • Working closely with the broader CountPlus team to leverage cross selling opportunities within network.
