As the saying goes, “measure twice, cut once” — identifying audit hurdles before a fund goes to audit reduces delays, avoids unnecessary queries and lessens the risk of qualifications that may result in reported contraventions.  

Gansen Pappiah, Director at National Audits Group, joins Mark Ellem, Head of SMSF Education at Accurium, to run through practical pre‑audit checks accountants and administrators should complete. Gansen will share his firm’s experience of the most common breaches and misunderstandings uncovered during audits, and will explain how to evidence compliance and streamline file readiness to minimise auditor queries. Expect real‑world examples and actionable steps you can apply straight away.
