Both the courts and the ATO have had a recent, renewed interest in the employee v contractor distinction. In the past two years we have seen: 

  • two High Court decisions 
  • one Full Federal Court decision and  
  • a new ATO ruling and practical compliance guideline.  


The result of these decisions and updated guidance is that the way we approach the question of who is an employee has changed. 
 

In this session we will explore the who, when and why of the employee v contractor distinction, including the ATO’s compliance approach.

We will also provide the recording and associated materials if you are unable to attend the education service live at the new date/time. If you are unable to attend the education service live at the new date/time, you may request a refund of the moneys paid by contacting Accurium directly, with all requests to be considered on a case by case basis by Accurium in its absolute discretion.
